The Version 4.0 Update is a testament to PUBG MOBILE‘s commitment to providing players with innovative and engaging content, constantly evolving the gameplay experience to keep players on the edge of their seats.

At the heart of the Version 4.0 Update lies the captivating Spooky Soiree themed mode, a chilling addition available across Erangel, Livik, and Rondo. This mode introduces Ghostie, a personal ghost companion that loyally follows players throughout the match. Visible only to its owner unless a skill is activated, Ghostie becomes an integral part of the gameplay experience. Ghostie can be equipped with one main skill and two passive skills at a time, offering players a diverse range of tactical options. Players can choose between two main skills and five passive skill options, each upgradeable across three levels via direct pick-up or by using rare skill items. This customization allows players to tailor Ghostie to their preferred playstyle, adding a new layer of strategic depth to the game.

The distribution of skills across the maps is carefully designed to offer unique experiences. From September 4th, the Erangel and Rondo maps will feature Main Skill – Floating Balloon, Passive Skill – Boost, and Passive Skill – Ghost Helm, while Livik will offer Main Skill Guardian Shield, Passive Skill – Boost, and Passive Skill – Ghost Helm, while Prankster Ghost will have the Shield skill across all three maps. The fate of eliminated players takes a spooky turn as they transform into Prankster Ghosts, continuing to influence the match until they take damage or their energy bar is depleted. These mischievous ghosts possess unique abilities such as Bomb, which allows them to explode and knock back enemies, Scan, which reveals a target’s location for a short period, and Shield, which blocks damage. These abilities add a layer of unpredictable chaos to the battlefield, as players must contend with both living opponents and the spectral antics of Prankster Ghosts.
